Homicide Investigation. On 27 November 2022, at approximately 12:05 a.m., Des Moines Police Department patrol officers and Des Moines Fire Department rescue personnel responded to 2120 Ingersoll Avenue to investigate a report of a shooting incident
First responders arrived to find an adult male with a gunshot injury. Des Moines Fire Department medics transported the victim to a local hospital where he later died
Des Moines Police Department detectives are investigating this incident. Witnesses are being interviewed, evidence examined, and investigative leads followed. The Des Moines Police Department Crime Scene Investigation Unit is processing the scene
