Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 900 block of Randolph Street
Officers arrived at the location and found a 42-year-old woman deceased. Observations at the scene indicated that this was not a death due to natural causes
Des Moines Police Department detectives are investigating this death as a homicide. Witnesses are being interviewed, evidence examined, and investigative leads followed. This is the seventh homicide of 2021
